What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a brief strategic therapy used to help facilitate change within an individual. It involves working with a person's sub-conscious mind in a trance like state.
What is a trance?
A trance is an altered state of awareness. It is a state of being deeply relaxed where the individual is aware of what is going on around them but is choosing to relax and so, allowing their conscious mind to switch off, which in turn allows their unconscious mind to take over. It has been likened to that of daydreaming.
